Today's youth are happy and healthy when they are out being active, so why not learn while having some fun in the sun?
High Level Canoes and Kayaks have found that when given a chance these students are natural paddlers. What better way than a day out in the water to learn new skills, make new friends and introduce our youth to the adventures of kayaking and canoeing and paddle boarding.
This is a one day summer camp that runs from 9:00am - 3:30pm at Park Lake. We will be meeting at the North shore boat launch at Park Lake Provincial Park between 8:30-9:00 am. In this session we will teach them a variety of paddling skills in a safe and fun approach while helping build confidence and self esteem, From here the student will have a chance to advance their training with our continued education programs and establish more confidence on the water. The certified instructors at High Level Canoes and Kayaks are trained in instructing paddlers of all ages and will lead the students through age related skills and drills with lots of thrills. A the same time we strive to instill upon all participants the importance of safe paddling in all water related activities. (and a reminder you will be getting wet.) Parents are required to arrange pick up and drop off at Park Lake.
